As much as we enjoy meeting together on a Sunday, we know that it’s just not possible to form deeper relationships with everyone. With that in mind, we also meet in smaller groups during the week to socialise, worship, study and pray for each other – we call these housegroups.
There are currently 6 housegroups, running on different days of the week and at different times of day. The diary page gives more details of times and locations, but below follows a little summary of the flavour of each group.
Abbots Langley housegroup – meets monthly at 7:45pm at 5 Queens Drive, Abbots Langley (check diary for dates). Recent studies have included the gospels of Luke and Matthew.
Chantry housegroup – meets monthly at 7:30pm (check diary for dates and venue) for prayer, study and fellowship together.
Grace & Jane’s housegroup meets monthly in the evening from 8pm for study and social events (check diary for dates). Recent studies have been taken from the Christian Aid publication “Justice and the heart of God” and recent social events have included an indoor barbecue and a Christmas meal.
Belham Road Housegroup
Currently meeting bi-monthly for social events.
Tuesday Afternoon Housegroup every fortnight in Kings Langley (22 Vicarage Lane) from 1:45-3pm. Currently comprising 4 Mums and a little one, the afternoons include time to catch up, pray and study together.
Nomads Housegroup meets on Monday evenings in various homes around Kings Langley (venues listed on the diary pages) . Evenings start with a hot drink and catch up, followed by study, worship and prayer. Social BBQs and even parties (!) are a regular feature throughout the year.
Hunton Bridge Housegroup meet every Wednesday during term time at 8pm at 17 Bridge Road, Abbots Langley
If you would like to go along to any of these groups please give the main church number a call or speak to someone on Sundays, and we’ll point you in the right direction for the leader.
